Ebay allow you 30 days from receipt to start a case and return an item.
After that, it is between you and the seller.
Generally, you can start a chargeback with your payment provider if you buy an item online which is not fit for purpose. The time limit for such a case is 120 days and you are just past that.
If you bought from a UK business seller you could try ringing them or writing them a letter.
