Notifications asking about collection

I have received 2 eBay notifications today from different potential buyers but with exactly the same message. 1. Asking if item is available for collection and 2. Stating they can collect tonight. No offer has been made on item.  My instinct is that this could be a potential scam to obtain my address (especially as I have had no activity on item at all so far). I can’t reply to the notifications as they seem to disappear when opened.  Anyone else experienced this type of behaviour on a sell item? Thanks in advance

You can't give out address until item is sold and paid for via ebay checkout. 

So either ignore buyer or block them if you think they may be trouble.
