No option to use your own method of sending, forced to use there delivery option only

What the hell is going on with eBay, now when I list items I can no longer use my own method of how I want to send it, I am forced to use there simple sending system, WHY ???

I will only send via RM and have RM collect from me as I cant get out and they bring a label so makes life easy for me to sell, now that option has gone, so means I have to print a label and take the item to the post office of drop off point, I cannot do that, such  stupidness from eBay,  looks like its time to say goodbye to eBay after 30 odd years, no longer fun selling on this platform anymore, there just ruining it now

That is correct Simple Delivery is mandatory for all Private sellers,  and currently only Royal Mail and Evri are the postage options to use.  You can if you wish,  deselect Evri in your Site preferences here:

I believe the option for ' home collection' is still available,  you select the SD label,  then go to the RM website click on ' Arrange Collection'  and enter the number on the label.  RM do now have a charge for 30p for this service.
