New seller with a query about postage and unable to speak to a human

Good Evening All,

I am new to eBay and having trouble right at the start. I have pressed the help/contact button where it says you can talk to the automated system or a customer service agent but the option to speak to a human never appears. Very frustrating.

My issue - I have listed some items for sale and selected simple postage with the buyer paying postage. However when I look at my listings it is showing that I (the seller) pay the postage. Photo attached. I have gone in to revise every item, but it is showing as I thought i had set it - that the buyer pays. Yet when I go back to view them it still says I am paying.

Can anyone either help me directly or point me in the direction of how I can speak to a human being?

You have postage on your items which the buyer pays when they buy. They pay item price plus postage.

You pay for the postage when you post the item because you should receive the money for your item plus the postage when the buyer pays.

Thank you. So is that why it shows item price and underneath it says +postage (you pay). Because ultimately I pay for the postage but effectively claim it back from buyer? It was just odd as my daughter showed me her ebay and it shows as + postage (buyer pays £3).
