New seller, getting paid

I'm a new seller, I sold something the other week and I got paid within 2 days of it being delivered. Since then I've sold 5 items and it's been about 5 days after it's been delivered and I haven't received any payouts. Has anyone else had problems?  I've checked it keeps saying within 24 hours but that's been days ago,

New seller, getting paid

Payments are placed on hold for a security measure both for your account and for your buyer.

If you are a new seller,  eBay have none of your selling history,  so they need to see that a paid for item,  will be shipped and delivered to the buyer.  If you have tracking showing delivery,  this will speed up that payout, and it is sent to your bank usually within a few days.

This has to be in place otherwise anyone could come on eBay sell expensive items,  take the money and not post out the item.  Once you are established as a good seller posting out items promptly,  this hold stops,  and you can select a daily or weekly payout from your sales.

If you are a returning seller,  that is,  you have returned to sell after a little break,  then sudden selling activity raises red flags to eBay as some dormant accounts can be hijacked,  so eBay wish to see that the genuine seller has returned.

Here again,  tracking showing delivery will release the money sooner,  as eBay as happy the genuine seller has returned to their account to sell again.

Thanks for the info. It's strange though as the first item I sold and showed delivered I got paid after 2 days. But the latest items which also show was delivered as I uploaded tracking I haven't received anything after 7 days 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yep, that can happen first one or two sales can be paid,  then a hold is put in place as eBay wish to see this is a genuine seller who will be posting items promptly.

Once you achieve a good routine of posting promptly and delivery is confirmed by tracking,  then holds on  payouts cease, and  then can be selected to be paid daily or weekly, and at a later date, there is an option for instant payment.

As long as you've registered for Managed Payments correctly,  your bank account is verified, usually with confirming 2 micro deposits eBay send to that account,  all is well.
