New listing restrictions

Why reduce from 1000 to 300 a month, ebay makes its money from me selling items. I am certainly not paying 35p a listing so they have reduced their chance to make money from my sales by over 60%, is that really good business sense? Guess I wlll be exploring Vinted opportunities now.

New listing restrictions

It's to weed out all of the business sellers masquerading as private sellers.

Unless listing a collection of items (such as stamps, postcards etc) then no private seller would really have over 300 items to list per month.

You currently have 149, do you really need more than 300?

You seem to list for only 5 days, so if constantly relisting unsold items 50 items listed 6 times during course of a month would use up you allowance.

Why  not  use  7 or 10 day listings, using 10 days you could list 100 items 3 times.

I am of course taking this in the simplest terms and taking all month 30 days, but it is a matter of taking full advantage  of what you are allowed.

Selling on ebay at the moment is pretty dreadful, but over the years have tried  other sites and they were awful even in good times on ebay.
