I have been noticing that despite logging in to Nectar and following their links to eBay prior to making a purchase that some points, especially on higher value items are not being allocated. Today, (26 August 2025), I decided to contact Nectar. Their response was that although they can see the purchases made, the individual sellers did not authorise the transaction points and therefore they could not be awarded. They stated that I should have contacted each seller to get them to approve the points. I suggested that they (Nectar) should contact eBay to see if they could make their sellers aware of this issue, but I was informed that I should do this, as being a customer of eBay it would hold more sway. It seems crazy that prior to Nectar withdrawing their links to eBay it was straightforward - log in to eBay make a purchase and the points were awarded. Now you have to log in to Nectar, follow their "partners" link, find eBay, click on the link that then takes you to eBay, purchase the item and then wait to see if any points are forthcoming (or not). I know these points are not a massive deal, but after a while they do start to add up. Is there any way to make sellers aware of this issue and get them to approve the points?
