A buyer incorrectly ordered an item although title clearly showed sizes, and started a return process. I contacted them and they were standoffish and terse but admitted the error. I offered to send parts at my cost of over £2.00(more than the profit made) and they said they would cancel the return. They didn’t, that was yesterday, Tuesday 13th. Today I received two emails simultaneously from eBay saying item had been posted and then delivered at exactly the same time! EBay says item has been sent, it hasn’t, has been delivered, it hasn’t and how at a nanosecond time delivery slot? This will leave me with over £11.50 deficit and no goods? Why has this error been allowed to happen on a platform that only supports buyers and not sellers clearly?
I am considering closing my account as the fees are outrageous and not cheaper with a shop as they stated, I used to pay around 11%, now am paying an average of 17% plus 30p.
An anyone help with the duff return process ? EBay have ignored me and there is no call back service offered any longer that I can find and I have been on here for 20 years now. Ridiculous.
