I know this has been raised already, but I haven't seen a solution to this problem yet.
I want to sell an item that is 2m long, which means that it falls outside the simple delivery maximum allowed size. No option is available to me to select another courier - this option has disappeared.
I tried the AI assistant, which was a joke and highly frustrating. And it lies! AI: "You can also contact an agent at any time." Me: "I want to talk to an agent." AI: "Sorry, live support's currently unavailable."
Can someone tell me how I am supposed to sell my item?
Thanks
Mike

If Simple Delivery didn't exist, what courier company and method could and would you use?

When you click on the packet size box during the listing process you will get the various size options in a pop-up. Scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up list and you should see a link that says:
"Looking for heavier or larger package options? Switch to custom postage."
Then you'll be able to set your own postage.
Use a browser on a laptop or desktop device. It works on Chrome/Chromium. If you still have problems emphasise the size in your title.

I use Simple Delivery for everything else I am selling, so it's great, but this item is too big for Simple Delivery so I was intending to use DPD.

Thank you, but I have tried all of that. The option to select custom postage does not exist, and the length of the item is in the title.

Continuing on from this, I am now trying to list a small, inexpensive item that is less than 250g so should be able to use Royal Mail 2nd class (and I used to be able to do so), but now only expensive Simple Delivery 1kg large letter is available which makes selling my item unviable.
