Recently ebay have restricted buyers from viewing my listings siting policy violations using very generic photos. I have been selling since 2006 with no interventions until now.  Has something changed and I have just missed item?  Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.  Sorry about the subject field.  Couldn't select anything more appropriate

eBay's messages do not always explain the issue clearly.

You may have some restriction as eBay see you are selling mostly Brand New items, so are currently registered with the wrong account.

A Private account,  the one you have,  is for selling unwanted,  used items,  say a garage / attic/ wardrobe clear out.

A Business Account is needed if you wish to sell Brand New items,  items bought to sell,  or handmade items.

This will show how to register your account correctly:

1. Go to Account settings in My eBay.
2. Select Personal information. 
3. Select Edit next to Account type. You may be asked to sign in again.
4. Select Confirm to upgrade to a Business account.
5. Specify whether you operate your business as a legal entity or as a sole proprietor and select Continue.
6. On the following page, enter your business information such as name, contact information, and returns policy. Then select Save.

Probably best to use a PC / laptop for this,  and not the app or mobile browser.  Chrome seems to work best on eBay.
