My account has been duplicated under my personal email.

I have an ebay account under my work email which was set up years ago.

This morning I received two emails from ebay regarding  the updates. 

One on my work email and a second one on my personal email.

The email to my personal account has a different account username. Which I don't recognise. 

I didn't set up a second Ebay account. 

I am worried that someone else has set up

this new account in my name.

What can I do about this please?

Have you ever signed in using facebook,google or apple?If so this creates a new account associated with the relevant email you can close the account if you wish
