Moving Countries

Ive had an ebay shop for over 10 years.  I opened it when I lived in the UK and in 2018 I moved to France.  Am now back in the UK and eBay have told me I cannot change my country back to the Uk and I have had to close my shop for now as it says I am located in France, which I am not.  I am unable to open a new shop because I changed my email and pohone number on my existing shop to my new UK ones before they told me I could nolt change my country...... has anyone else experienced this?

unfortunately the country of registration for an account cannot be changed.

The advice you have received is correct.

I don't know why they can't do it, but Ebay are unable to change the country on an account.

You will need to open a new account in order to sell again.

You can't use an email account that is linked to an account already, but it's easy enough to open an 'Ebay only' email account - I have a gmail account which I opened just for Ebay use.
