Money back guarantee

Hey all,

I want to buy an item and I’m not sure about the seller but it has an eBay money back guarantee I’m trying to work out what I need to make sure I get my money back. Im using PayPal and it’s MacBook I’m wanting to buy so not too cheap. Anything I can do to ensure I don’t lose out in advance? Probably will be fine but checking in case

Money back guarantee

If it was not as described, you have 30 days to open a NOT AS DESCRIBED case to get a refund.

After 30 days nothing you can do through ebay, it is all down to you using the systems in place.

If in doubt look elsewhere, as there is always the possibility of you making a mistake and money back guarantee will not apply.

There is a link on every item, right side read it for yourself. (Buy with confidence)

If you want a guarantee buy from a different place, definitely not ebay.

Guarantees on ebay are only as good as your ability to enforce them, and many sellers on ebay prove "difficult" when it comes to claiming from a warranty.

Members come here for advice all the time for help because a seller ignores them, or have disappeared from the platform so we advise contacting their payment provider for help.

Personally if I was after buying such an item I would not buy from ebay.

You have 30 days from buying to open an ebay case.

Assuming it is not as described, seller provides returns label, you post back for full refund.

Escalate on day 4 if no label or refund.

Ignore seller excuses.

If ebay case fails, you can then ask paypal to sort.

Any issues after delivery, come back & ask rather than lose money.

Having said all of this, most sales go fine.
