I’m having problems buying a reliable memory stick, which has the correct level of memory to what it has stated, even 32mb only allows storage of 19gb or less. Why can’t ebay see the trends and eliminate the sellers from their market place. They may state that they don’t have enough people power to vet the sellers but I keep on returning them, so I presume that is more time consuming for ebay. It is also very frustrating for me.

Personally I find what you pay for is what you get – 2tb stick for under £10 is always going to be rubbish.
Buy a well known brand, you pay more but your data is safe.

Does no-one ever read the user agreement? eBay couldn't make it more clear that listings are the responsibiity of the seller, and that eBay does not guarantee the quality of items sold, or that they will be truthfully described, safe, legal or even exist. Would you buy from a shop that stated this?
So you knew the risk you were taking. Surely the offer of a 2TB memory stick for just £9.99 from an seller who only registered on eBay a month ago should have warned you that you were in the red zone? It was your choice to take a chance on it. Next time, remember that eBay is a jungle.

I received a feedback which I didn’t appreciate from a mentor. The thing is the insinuation made me feel stupid, although I safe guarded myself by understanding that I would get my money back. I feel the mentor made many assumptions about my character, which I didn’t appreciate. The issue needed to be aired. The problem of bad sellers doesn’t go away by accepting that these sellers exist on ebay and we take our chances in the ‘ebay jungle’ as stated by the mentor. Ebay has been great and are working to discuss the matter with the mentor. Long live challenge to ensure we change the ‘accepted normality’
