I purchased an expensive mattress it was in a poor condition although described has new, the buyer was abusive and rude. Buyer told me that he would collect on the 28/1/26 at 11.00 hrs, he did not arrive and we kept contacting him, the next day he told me that he had attended my property x2, this was not true we have camera and ring door bell. No one attended i am worried that i will have to pay for a soiled item. Any advice would be appreciated. Buyer also saying that l have not posted back?

Assuming you are the buyer, have you opened a case for item not as described within 30 days of receipt?

Your post is very confusing - especially as you have repeatedly called the seller the buyer (I think).

So, you bought a mattress but were unhappy with the condition when it was delivered.

Did you start a return case through Ebay?

Has the seller supplied a return postage label?  ( Buyer also saying that l have not posted back?)

I would message the seller once more confirming that they have the correct address and making an arrangement for the mattress to be collected.

If they don't then turn up, you may have to contact Ebay.

However, if you can clearly explain what has happened so far (Did you open a case?  Did the seller supply a label?) that would help to give you appropriate advice,

I think you're sayng that you bought a mattress but it was not new as descrided. The seller said that he would take it back and collect it, but he didn't turn up? Is this correct, please?

What you haven't told us is whether you have opened a case under eBay's money back guarantee? I doesn't sound as though you have.

If not, you need to do so now. The seller will be required to arrange send you a prepaid return label, or arrange for a courier to collect. Do not agree to let him collect in person, as eBay will require tracking proof of delivery to show that you returned it.

The procedure is explained here: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
