Making an Offer

I have been trying to make an offer for several days and am repeatedly informed that this page is missing.  Contacting an eBay assistant, I was told that the problem is ongoing and that in the meantime I might contact the seller directly to make an offer, which if agreed upon they could amend their item to buy it now for the agreed price.  I tried this but did not receive a reply.  I later received an email from eBay  saying that the seller is waiting for me to make an offer.  I don't think this problem will be sorted soon, and if there is a buy it now option, and you really want the item, then this is the way to go.

That is correct it is an ongoing issue that many are finding, so you are not alone.

The workaround is to ask the seller if they agree to your offer to amend their price to reflect this so you can buy straight away.

However,  as you have found not all seller's are great communicators so you may not receive any reply.

Not a great situation everyone will agree!
