Linking accounts

Hi, Does anyone have a Busines Account and is also a private seller ?

If so how are these accounts linked ?

For example could you move a listing from one to the other.

Or do they have no other purpose than to show you have two accounts.

Thanks

Accounts can't be linked.

You need to list items separately on each account.

Only time ebay will link accounts is if 1 of them is restricted, other will be too.

I am sure a lot of members have more than one account - for example, you could have three private accounts: one for buying, one for selling and one for posting in the forum.

However, although Ebay link your accounts, for you as a member, as far as I know (and I am happy to be corrected), there is no tangible link between your accounts.

So, for example, if I wanted to sell something on my buying account which was listed on my selling account, I could not 'transfer' it but would have to copy and paste all the elements of the listing.

It would make sense to have two, separate selling accounts.

If you are a registered business seller, I imagine it may complicate your accounts if you were also to sell personal possessions privately on the same account.

Also, bear in mind that statutory consumer protection doesn't apply to business to business sales. So you could end up with fewer consumer rights as a buyer if buying on a business account.
