Ebay MBG is only for 30 days, beyond that time it is between you and seller.

I feel that this may be a Chinese company.

Any warranty offered by any seller anywhere is only ever going to be as good as your ability to enforce it, and most of the time you can't.

If you funded your payment with a debit or credit card less than 120 days you may be able to issue a chargeback via them.
