Items not selling

Morning everyone,

Wonder if you can help me.  I have a lot of items i have been trying to sell but they just dont seem to be selling.  Its not as though they are expensive items (mostly clothes) and the method i have been using is re-listing them.  Is there something i am doing wrong is there a better way to re-list ?

I can't see any live listings for you, last ones were over a year ago.

I assume then these are listed under another ID.

This is not just you, everything is slow, buyers do not like the fees being added, ebay keeps changing the rules and in general I think both buyers and sellers are fed up with the new systems.

75p added to low value items, becomes more than the fee previously paid by sellers. I also think seeing a start price of £3.84 on a £3 item is enough to put buyers off.

Thanks for your reply John.  You are right buyers and sellers are fed up with the new systems and extra charges.  So its not just me friends of mine are moving over to vinted now.

You will get more advice if you post from the account you are using to sell.

The only answer anybody can offer for this account is that you haven't got anything listed.

But vinted charge buyers a fee as well.

There are no live listings at the moment as i gave up selling but its definitely not a year.  I got fed up re-listing everything and not selling anything.  Someone did say to create a new listing for each of the items but that would take me forever to do (150 items)  Ebay will then see this as a new listing and promote it better than a re-listed item that you have been putting on for months, not sure if this is true.

Sorry, i can see what i have done now i was not in my ebay account and just googled "why are my items not selling on ebay" and went in on the link from there......oooops
