Item not received can’t get through the algorithm

I purchased an item as a guest and it has not arrived. When I requested help I was diverted to my account but as I bought as a guest the item didn’t appear. 
I have an order number but can’t escape the algorithm; is there a way to circumvent the algorithm and deal with a person?
