Item not as described

I can’t find how to reach an outcome. I am a buyer. I bought an item which was delivered to me. It is 3D printed and very poor quality. The colours aren’t as advertised and they are falling apart. The seller claims it was damaged in postage but you can see how flimsy they are. There also bits that are broken off that aren’t in the packaging so suggests they were broken before it was packed. The seller doesn’t accept returns and has been quite rude. I want a refund and would return. I have sent photos of the damage. The seller has now gone quiet. I have gone to PayPal to get an outcome but have been redirected to eBay. eBay keeps directing me to returns. I’m getting nowhere.

Open item not as described case on ebay (seller can't refuse it).

Seller provides returns label, you post back for full refund.

Escalate on day 4 if no label or refund.

Ignore seller excuses.

Always use the ebay 30 day money back guarantee, it is on every listing right side

BUY WITH CONFIDENCE.

Going to paypal first runs risk of not being able to use ebay, especially as seller has to pay for return label, paypal requires buyer to pay for return. Always keep paypal as a back up.

On listings NO RETURNS is followed by SEE DETAILS. Sellers can only refuse change of mind returns, they must accept NOT AS DESCRIBED returns.

It does pay to read everything on ebay, as some sellers are quite happy to allow buyers to not understand their rights.
