Item has been cancelled

I received a message saying my purchase had been cancelled, reason given, buyer cancelled, well I am the buyer & I didn’t cancel, now having to source another seller, the product is more expensive, & original seller is not responding to my request……… poor show 😞

It is a poor show and bad selling. Your seller selected that reason because it does not give any defect on their account.

 

if you wish you can contact eBay Customer Services, explain you did not authorise this cancellation and were disappointed not to receive your item.  CS will place a damaging defect on the seller's account.  You can also leave appropriate feedback something on the lines...... Very disappointed the seller did not complete my transaction.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
