Item has arrived by hand, ebay won't release funds to the seller

How do I contact ebay to let them know that the item was posted by hand?

Are you the buyer?

If this was a collected item,   a 6 digit QR code is given to you to give to the seller for them to scan,  this is the only proof to show an item has been collected.  Nothing more you can do than to send this code, it can be entered  manually.

Are you the seller ?  If there is no code to scan,  or if this was originally a postal item but then hand delivered,  there will be no code,  no tracking to show delivery,  so your payout will be held for 14 days before release.

Thanks! I'm the buyer, ebay are withholding the funds as the tracking is marked as not delivered.

The seller has contacted me asking for me to let ebay know that I have recieved the item. I can't find anywhere to do that. I keep running into bots who don't understand the problem!

I feel for the seller as he  was very prompt with the delivery!

Unless the item was under £25 in which case feedback will release the payment, the seller is just going to have wait 14 days for payment.

There truly is nothing you can do,  eBay will not accept anything from you,  any reassurances you have the item, no feedback unless the item was under the value of £25 , there's nothing you can do,  mark or say to eBay Customer Services to release the money sooner for this seller.

Was it originally listed as a collection item?  Then,  you should have a QR code to send to the seller only this will release their money sooner, otherwise it's a 14 day wait.
