Item disappeared

Hi. I was bidding and winning on an item. There was 23 hours left. I went to check the status of the item, to potentially increase my bid. Now the item has disappeared, and so has the sellers other items he had listed?  What would be the reason for this? Thank you

Sounds like their account has been suspended by eBay and their items removed.   If so you had  a lucky escape.

Doesn't necessarily mean a suspension,  unless it now says on the seller's profile  ' Unregistered User'.

There may have been some emergency at home, and realising they will not be able to post for ** days decided to remove all items.

What was the seller selling ?
