At the end of September I bought a new HDD, when the item showed as delivered on Royal Mail tracking it wasn't my house nor was it a house in my street.
I contacted Royal Mail who opened a case and said they would contact the local delivery office and try an retrieve the item but they were unable to.
During this time I contacted the seller who said they also contacted Royal Mail but haven't provided me any updates since the 6th of October.
I opened an appeal with Ebay to explain what had happened but the appeal was closed saying the tracking shows the item was delivered. (I provided a picture of the door in the tracking and my own)
What should I do? I'm going to lose over £100 for something that isn't my fault and I've tried everything.
