Item delivered to customer by myself but can't put update status to delivered, so get payed out.

I have sold a item ,it was collection only but as I was going past the buyers house I have dropped the item off, I now unable to mark as dispatched and receive my money .

You can ask the buyer now to give you the collection code they will have received from ebay.   If not you will have to wait up to 21 days for the money to be released.
