I won an auction at a very low price and paid immediately, then tried to arrange pick up.
The seller sent me her number and asked me to call her, which I did. She told me she had intended to put a minimum bid on the auction, but she had not done so. She gave me her street name and told me she could not package the item as the price was low, so that I should bring packaging. I went out and bought packaging then tried to arrange pickup.
Since then she has been difficult to deal with - I texted to arrange pick up and she asked me not to text saying she would be in touch the next day. I contacted her via ebay the next day to explain that I understood that she was disappointed in the price, but that I would honour paying her 10x that price when picking up, which I thought was very reasonable.
She has given me no explanation as to why she will not sell to me, but sent a message asking for my paypal details to refund, which I don't want. And I've just had an ebay refund with no note - which I don't want.
Her behaviour is puzzling: I won an auction, offered to pay way more than that and have been trying to arrange pickup promptly (she's apparently going away).
I thought I could reject a cancellation if it was requested via ebay but it doesn't look like that's the case.
People like this ruin ebay. What recourse do I have?

This is bad selling. The seller has probably selected the reason problem with buyer's address or buyer requests to cancel, because it avoids a damaging defect for their account.
No one can force a seller to sell an item, but you can if you wish contact eBay Customer Services, explain the reason quoted for the cancellation is untrue , you did not authorise the cancellation, and you were disappointed not to receive your item. CS will review the case and may place that damaging defect on their account.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open, as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Sadly you can not make a seller sell only leave appropriate feedback if they won't.Make sure the feedback is short and polite so ebay don't remove it under there feedback policies.
Maybe something along the lines of "bought and paid for item, but disappointed the seller would not complete the sale"
