A bidder has asked me to cancel his bid, which I am happy to do but I need to find the ITEM Number - where / how do I find that?

Scroll down to Item specifics,  just above it,  far right is eBay item number xxxxxxxxx

Great, thanks - now, in the Cancel Buyers Bids form is the 'Username' me or the cancelling buyer?

You need the buyer's username Id there,  as you are entering all this from your account,  so your ID is noted.
