Issues with posting

hello I sold the item a few days ago and I got a package ready to send off eBay goes through the dimensions and gives me a label I went to Royal post office and they will not accept the parcel since it was too two big in dimensions it were too long how to pay 15 quid to send it through parcel force and there was no option to send any parcels through parcel force on eBay which I find disappointing now I’ve got to sort things out. Is there a way  to change the tracking number from Royal mail to parcel forces tracking number so the the buyer can track it properly through eBay and can I have the conversation of the £15? I had to pay for the postage.

You cannot change tracking numbers on ebay when you don't use Simple Delivery.   You can message your buyer with the tracking details.  If necessary you would be able to add the new number to an "Item not received" case if one was opened.   Payment may be held for 14 days.

Assuming the buyer paid the postage they will automatically get a refund for the unused label in 30 days.   I'm afraid there is no way of getting back the £15 you spent.
