Is my buyer taking the proverbial? Can I even stop them?

I'm your average nobody seller, tryihng to offload an oldish (2021) ipad air after upgrading. My buyer reported battery issues immediately after I posted postive feedback after a couple of days. I was surprised, because I never noticed any battery issues. No matter - I immediately offered a return. However, in spite of them saying they wanted this, I've had to wait 15+ working days before the return has been initiated. Due to "Work commitments" - apparently they don't have internet or something lol. I beginning to feel U've just been renting it out!

“No internet” perhaps they mean their internet was down, as otherwise how did they buy.

Did buyer open a not as described case? If so you should have provided a return label, only for change of mind returns does buyer have to pay for return postage. It is  a 30 day money back guarantee, offered by ebay!

John I immediately offered a return. The buyer had opportunity to initiate a return, but said they were on business for a "few" days. If they can message me that, they can initiate a return.
