Incorrect address

A parcel arrived with wrong details, all I have is a reference number.

Are you sure this is from an eBay seller?

If you have purchased some recent items from eBay,  checkout those sellers,  they may just have posted to the wrong buyer.

Click on the seller's listings,  then down the left sidebar click on Sold.  If you find the item there, send that seller a message  that you have received their item in error,  for them to send you enough money to cover a fully tracked return postage to return the item back to them.

Do not be fobbed off with sending to the correct buyer, it goes back to the seller.

Search through your last few purchases,   an eBay seller  has sent an item to the wrong buyer...  yourself.

Who delivered the item ,  your postie?  If you cannot trace the seller as above,  then hand the item to your postie.

It was delivered to Evri.

My Post Office accepts Evri parcels,  does yours,  you could then take it to your PO , say delivered in error by Evri.

You have private messaged me I think in error, but I explained that eBay will not release any member's address for security reasons.

If it is from an ebay seller, then he did not just invent your address, it must be a member you have had recent dealings with.

Follow what tressygirl said, but if no recent purchases, then nothing much you can do, except see if anyone contacts you.
