eBay have warned me I have 1 month left before my account is being restricted further.
My seller performance level has almost always been Top Rated Seller, however in the last few months I have below rated level due to a very strict criteria which is now impossible to resolve.
"Cases closed without seller resolution"
I have 3 cases which I forgot to close despite agreeing the situation with the buyer.
eBay demand that I improve my percentage from 0.54% to 0.30% in one month. They are scoring me over a 1 YEAR period. My total transactions are 554 in this period meaning I must make 443 sales without fault in the next month to take my percentage down to 0.30%.
This is totally insane and impossible especially as for the past 3 months they have taken an additional 5% comission fee and all my "cases closed without seller resolution" happened over 6 months ago. Not only this but it's totally unfair that a computer algorithm has done this over a technicality when in fact all the cases the buyer was satisfied.. I forgot to click a button on the system... Crazy.
What can I do?? Am I just finished.

Additional there is no standard in this category, it is only above standard or below...

I am afraid that falling below standard and restrictions on listing and selling, does produce this impossible situation.
Rules may be different for Business Sellers, but the only way you can improve your standard is defects running out of time, which I think may be 12 months as for Private Sellers. The alternative is as you say a vast increase in sales, which is just impossible.

Thank you for this honest response as I thought I was crazy.. I'll have to wait around 3 months before these old cases expire.
