ITEM DELIVERED BUT EBAY REFUNDED BUYER FOR OPENING A CASE!!!!!

This is from a message ebayer customer services  sent me

''I’ve reviewed the case details carefully. I’m delighted to inform you that I’ve now closed the case since the item has been delivered. In this case, I have now manually released your held funds which will be available within 0 – 4 business days, ready for pay out''

NOW I HAVE JUST HAD A MESSAGE A MONTH LATER FROM EBAY SAYING THEY HAVE REVIEWED IT AGAIN & REFUNDED THE BUYER, I HAVE NOW GOT A CASE CLOSED WITH OUT RESOLUTION & A TRANSACTION DEFFECT ON MY ACCOUNT!!!!

The item was tracked & shows it was deliverd as ebay clearly said in there first message, royal mail website shows the item was delivered..... what am I supposed to do?  this is well out of order for any genuine seller.

Yep,  certainly doesn't sound right and worth pursuing.

 

Contact eBay Customer Services if you do so now, there's a better chance of Dublin answering,  only speak to them,  it's a Call Back option,  so you'll hear if it's the dulcet tones from the Emerald Isles.  Ask  for some explanation of this very strange decision.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

 

As said,  I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
