I puechased postage at the Post Office - why is Ebay charging for postage I did not buy from them?

I listed two items sold this past week for which I purchased postage directly from Royal Mail - yet Ebay is taking £2.70 per item for ‘postage and packing’. Why? DO NOT DO THIS. Please contact me to arrange immediate refund.

And please make it easier to contact customer service!!

You are using simple postage, so should have bought postage through ebay.

Also by buying from PO, you won't be able to add tracking.

I see - I was not aware Ebay were now forcing me to use their postage procedures. I have always supported the local Post Office and prefer to continue to do so.

And of course you can track a parcel when you buy postage at a Post Office. And a month ago you could add tracking details so a sold item in My Ebay. It looks like Ebay have decided to remove another helpful service in order to simplify things for us (i.e. easier for them).

Once these listings are gone, this Ebay account will close and its off to Etsy for me. I’m sick of this.
