I want to post my own items not using Ebay.How do I "simply" revert to the old system.I have dispatched an item but ebay won't allow me to add tracking or mark order as dispatched,or use the customer address without me asking the buyer to provide an address.
Simple Delivery is not compulsory..... yet, so you can opt out if you wish. I believe you'll need a laptop / PC and use Chrome for this, not the app or mobile browser.
When creating a new listing here's how to opt out:
Click on Custom Postage option, this is next to the simple delivery option on the listing on the right hand side, and it should allow you to then select your postage options.
Others have found this works ..... Click on Collection then straight away back to and click on Postage Only, and the Custom option shows, you are then able to select the postage service and cost you wish to use.
For the current item you posted, if you cannot manually change / edit the tracking number to the correct one, contact eBay Customer Services, they'll do this for you.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.
Thanks,I have been reading about this all change from the 15th,but I think all avenues will be closed soon,as its about making cash,and ebay are vindictive,heres hoping for an alternative way to sell.
