Hi need desperately some advice, I posted out an item which went to the sorting office insufficient,

Hi need advice sent parcel unfortunately had wrong postage cost, contacted buyer they have refused to collect item, but want a refund, I will lose out I can't get the parcel back, as she name is on the collection post office card and will require proof what can I do, I offered to pay the difference in cost, plus full refund if she collected the item 😢 my funds are on hold waiting a decision from Ebay to refund her, surely they can't if she doesn't return the item

Your buyer can't return the item as they clearly don't plan to collect it.

Buyers should not have to pay to collect their parcels and this is your error.

If the buyer opens a case through Ebay for 'item not received' you will have to refund them.

If you put return details on the parcel, it should eventually come back to you.

You must make sure that you put enough postage on.
