Help!

I sold an item and sent it out, but Ebay wont let me mark it as dispatched! 

it just keeps telling me to buy a prepaid postage label!

I tried chatting with the help bot and it just does not understand the problem. How do I contact them to sort this?

You have not used the ebay simple delivery label.  To mark dispatched and change tracking you have to generate the SD label.  Afterwards the buyer will receive a refund for the unused label in 30 days. You have paid for the non-SD label yourself.

In my opinion it is unwise to let buyer buy the postage, as you have found, you have paid for postage and buyer will get a refund as the label he paid for will not be used.

Better to let buyer pay to you purchase price plus postage, then if ebay postage has to be cancelled then you get the refund.
