Help with a lost return

A buyer requested to return an item which I accepted. The only problem I have is eBay tracking has messaged to say the item has been returned but I have not received it. Royal Mail then asks for my postcode to get info about where the item is returned and it doesn't recognize my post code. Any suggestions? I don't want to lose the money and the item but it seems unfair to not refund the buyer also. I've tried to contact eBay but I've done laps of the 'contact us' section and had no luck.

Did you supply the buyer with a return label?

Have you checked that you used the correct address?  There are 5 different places for your address on Ebay.
