Help with a full refund to buyer

I accidentally put the wrong label on a parcel. I sent the correct label to the recipient and they have returned it to me. I want to do a full refund to the buyer but it will only let me refund the item and not the wasted shipping label. That’s not fair on the buyer. What do l do, eBay is useless when you have a problem to solve. The recipient did a return request and it’s showing that they haven’t sent it but lve got it back?????

You need to explain what has happened as your post is not clear.

Did you send something to the wrong person who has since returned it to you?

Now, are you trying to refund the buyer who bought and paid for the item but never received it?

 

Was it a Simple Delivery label that ended up not being used - what you describe as the 'wasted label'?

Thanks for responding:I had 2 parcels to send, unbeknown to me l had another sale come through on route to the Evri shop. I sent 1 parcel correctly and for the second parcel l accidentally printed the label for the new sale l didn’t know about. I was getting repeated messages from eBay saying l was way over the limit to send the parcel, l just thought it was a glitch in the system as l was following the journey of the parcel and it was out for delivery that day. It then dawned on me the error ld made. I messaged the buyer to tell them of my mistake and l message the recipient to tell them they were getting the wrong item. They started a request to return the item to me through eBay. I sent them the correct label for the buyer waiting for the parcel - they sent it and the buyer messaged me today to say they’ve got it.1 sorted 1 to go. So now lm stuck with a buyer who has paid in good faith without his parcel but a used shipping label put on wrong parcel.What l want to do is give him a full refund, reissue the item and let them buy it again if they want it. However, on eBay their request to return is showing that they haven’t yet sent the parcel - but they have?
