Having trouble cancelling a cancellation request from a buyer

Hello I recently tried to sell a Luminary's recovery pod pro ice barrel.  It was my first time trying to sell on eBay.  I set it up for buy now and bid.  my buy it now price was £350 and my starting bid price was £200.  There was a 5 day count down which ended at 5 pm on Saturday the 20th of September.  A bidder bid £215 and ended up buying the item at that price.  I contacted the buyer telling them to cancel their order as the price was £350 not £215.  I tried contacting eBay but everything is an automated service I couldn't speak to anyone.  The buyer informed me they tried to cancel the order but when I tried to approve the buyer's cancellation request I was taken through a process of approving their cancellation request with the option to re-enlist my item for sale again or not.  I was taken to a page to fill out my bank details and press submit which I did.  Today the buyer has informed me they cannot get their refund they paid.  When I went on to investigate this it says buyer wants to cancel this request which I thoughjt I had approved. On the page where it says Buyer wants to cancel this order, at the bottom it says Funds pending - awaiting delivery.  But I as the seller am not posting the order for delivery as the buyer did not pay the right price for their order.  I get a page saying cancellation is in progress.  What does that mean?  Does it mean I have to deliver the item to the buyer before the cancellation request is confirmed and the buyer gets refunded?  I have no experience selling on eBay any help would be appreciated.

First of all, if you list something as an auction item with a starting price of £200, you should sell to any buyer who offers that price or above.

The buy it now price is not a minimum or a reserve price.

Either list an item as 'buy it now' or, if you want an auction, you must list the item at the lowest price you will accept.

You should refund the buyer.

Ebay will take the money from your funds and then pass the buyer's payment to you.

Do not send the item out - that will make things very complicated.

Use the link below to cancel your order.

You can cancel an order by selecting the button below. After you cancel we'll let the buyer know and, if they've already paid, they'll get a refund.
