I have sold an item but the parcel was too large and so I used Royal Mail and paid the postage. I have received confirmation of delivery but the funds have not been released by ebay.
Payment for untracked (on ebay) items are held for 14 days. As a new seller it's possible ebay will hold payment for 30 days, which is a separate issue. Either way you will get it in the end.
