I am currently up dating my Ebay shop and adding items. I haven't listed on it for over 2 years. Apart from the obvious and selling what people want to buy, do eBay hinder visibility if I don't use promoted listings? I don't have much in the shop at the moment and I haven't finished setting it up properly. A lot of the photos aren't great but its work in progress. I did wonder what the algorithm selects etc. Promoted Listings? Price Point? Free Post? Anything else I should take into consideration.
