If payments have been made from your bank, and you are sure they are not for items that you have bought and you have not given anyone permission to use your card, you should contact your bank.

Were these purchase payments, as I cannot see any selling activity.

I don't know know why they waste time doing that. Hopefully they have frozen your account already?
If you know you, or someone you know with access to your account, didn't make these purchases then it must be that someone has hacked your bank account.
Ebay are not going to identify that person or do anything other than confirm the purchases were not made through your account, but you already know that.
By the way 'we' are not ebay. We are other members like you.
