Fees are crippling my business

Hi, I've been selling on ebay for over 22 years. I upgraded to a featured shop for a year to see how it went. Over 12 months I ended up with such high fees I made a loss in the 1st 6 months and a profit of £1.48 in the second 6 month period.

I have now dropped back to a basic shop and for the month 25th Jan - 25th Feb after subs and fees I have a profit of around £1.75.  Am I missing something? Doing something wrong?

I want to clear my stock and then will probably close but I lose the best-known marketplace so it's a concern on what to do.

Anyone else with the same issues re high fees? I'm fed-up of working for eBay

Fees are crippling my business

I have never  experienced business seller fees, but looking at seller’s comments  it appears to me that it really only pays for the big boys.

Business sellers depending on the scale of fees they select pay so much before even selling anything. Have you looked at the fees to see if there is a scale of fees geared more to your volume of sales without paying for “clicks”.  Is it necessary to even use a “shop”?

Have a read of this and the chart of fees, especially the first column “no shop”, and compare with what you pay now.
