Please can someone help me. I have been left negative feedback from a buyer who did not actually buy something from me. The order was cancelled as he did not want to pay for the import fees as he was overseas. We agreed to cancel the order and it was relisted.
I subsequently sold the item again a few weeks later to a new buyer.
Now the original buyer has left negative feedback saying there was a fault with the battery in the watch. I did not sell him the watch so he just have left the feedback for the wrong person. I have submitted a revision request form and he has declined saying his feedback was correct. How can I email / contact eBay customer services to ask them to look into this please? Thanks

Try to get a callback tomorrow morning when you are more likely to be talking to Dublin.

Edit
I really didn't read your post - sorry!
Use the link below to contact Ebay.
Make the points you have made here and ask them to remove the feedback.

If he bought snd did not pay, then there is a procedure to deal with this and prevent any feedback being left.
Four complete days after Sale and not being paid, you cancel sale using reason “buyer did not pay”.
You also block buyer and if not slready done, block any buyer with two or more unpaid strikes.
Just using the system already in place would have prevented your unnecessary problems.

Thank you, he didn’t pay for the item as he did not want to pay for the import fees so I cancelled the order with his agreement and it was relisted. I don’t block him as I thought we agreed on this solution. He refuses to amend his feedback or respond to my messages. 🤷♂️
eBay can see it was cancelled and also the purchase from the new buyer. I’m at a loss to know how to deal with this now. Any ideas welcome please

Thank you, I’ll try that but to date they have not helped at all. They can see the history and who bought it but seem unable to help

Thank you so much, I did this tonight and got it resolved fairly quickly. eBay could see the issue and confirmed I was right
Much appreciated, for all those that offered advice 👍🏻
