Please can someone advise. I bought a ceiling light which is faulty. It has 4 settings and only 3 of them work. My problem is that it only became clear that this one setting was not working after 3 electricians put it up on the ceiling for £300! It is a giant chandelier type light and it took the guys ages.
I have phoned eBay who have put in a return request, however I do not want to be left £300 out of pocket. I would prefer a partial refund from the company who sold it to me. Otherwise, I want the company to reimburse me the cost of the light, the fitting and the P&P returning it to them.
I do not use eBay very much and so I am not sure what will happen next. Please can someone kindly advise?

Open item not as described case,
Seller can make a partial refund offer, if you accept, you get refund and case closes.
Seller can only make 1 offer.
They may just issue returns label, you return for full refund.
Ebay won't get involved with extra cost of electrician.
