Establishing that a buyer has received an order

I'm completely new  to E Bay selling.  A week ago I put 4 items up for sale and they were purchased by three separate purchasers literally within minutes.  I quickly packaged the items securely and printed off the four labels (two were to the same buyer). One label was for Evri, that was safely delivered and I am in  funds for it.

The other three labels were for 750 g large letter post (£2.70) speedy delivery ( recommended to the seller by E Bay)

When I took them to the post office, I was informed that they were above the recommended thickness for a large letter.  The post office informed me that I couldn't  make an additional payment to make it a parcel (my preferred option). Since all three items included electric plugs, opening and repackaging was also not an option.

I decided to  combine the two to the one buyer in a larger parcel ( cost £6.45) and a 1 Kg parcel (£3.95) for the other. Both were sent before noon on Saturday 8  March and were delivered by 11 March.

I have tried unsuccessfully to get reimbursement for the three £2.70 labels which were inappropriate.  Any help in that regard would be welcome since I still have seven days left of the fourteen to void the labels.

My main question is how can I verify to E Bay that the orders have been received in order that I can receive  payment?

Establishing that a buyer has received an order

See if you can add the new tracking to the order by going to the Order Details > Postage > dropdown menu (beside track package) > Add Tracking > + Additional Tracking Number.

If not contact ebay and accountask them to do it.   You can use callback on here:

You need to at least get it showing as dispatched. If the tracking doesn't update after that you will have to wait 14 days for the payment to be released.

You are using simple delivery, which means buyer pays postage, you get link to print label.

If you don't use this label, you pay for new one yourself and don't get refund.

Better to opt out.

Establishing that a buyer has received an order

Thank you for the advice. I believe that all three orders are already
showing dispatched on the (three) unused labels but I'll follow your
helpful advice tomorrow.
Thank you

Establishing that a buyer has received an order

Hi Now had a look. Have been unable to substitute the Royal Mail tracking
numbers for the numbers generated by E Bay. That tracking shows both
packages delivered. Since the labels generated by EBay were not used, they
take printing the labels as confirming the parcels being sent but delivery
is not confirmed. None of the Chatbot or Feedback options "help". What's
my next step???

Using a laptop / PC and Chrome if you cannot manually change those tracking numbers to the ones used,  contact eBay Customer Services,  and they will do this for you.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

I recommend contacting CS early in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Not sure if they will do this for SD labels but it's worth a try.
