Ebay international shipping

Ive recently purchased a number of items from usa to UK however the latest one has been delayed due to import vat and handling fees £65

None of the other same items had this happen or was I made to pay and I port fees

can anyone advise as to what's happened here or how to resolve the issue I don't think it's fair I have to pay an extra £65 on top of what was already expensive shipping and fees ect

That item shows as not being sent via GSP.

If sent via GSP, you would have paid Pitney bowes for import costs at time of purchase.

It is invoice from RM for import fees.

If you fail to pay, you invalidate ebay MBG.

How else would it be sent internationally

As was other packages it shows as stopping as your seller hubs and moving on to next hub and so on before now getting delayed or held

How do I check that status that you saw I have no reference to that

If you check your other purchases they should show Ebay International Shipping (EIS) which is where VAT and duties are collected at checkout.

This item was sent via Ebay EasyShip which is a seperate company that integrates online sellers shops and provides a choice of carriers but does not collect VAT or duties,these are charged by the arriving countrys carrier,in this case Royal Mail and have to be paid before delivery.
