Ebay balance

I just sold an item and today got mail saying I had funds of £8.18.

The item was sold £18.29, With the buyer protection fee and postage label taken off, I should have funds of £14.06? I'm confused. Can someone explain

Hi, No.  My sale is complete. I've not sold anything for a long time. I don't know if another item I just sold the  payment is pending as it's currently being delivered.  I just can see anything what this payment of funds is as it should be 14.06.

Yes, But don't know what I'm looking for. Only deductions for postage and protection

I have figured it out now, Ebay has deducted the postage price of £5.88, Off My most recent sale. I thought that would have came off after I had received payment. I don't sell a lot so bit confusing.
