EBAY is holding my funds even though I posted item (combined package, but using Simple Delivery)

Dear Community

I am a private seller who tries to avoid charging my customer more than necessary for postage, so will combine packages (& refund if necessary) and send through EVRI tracked service.

Recently I did this on 2 orders to same customer but not able to show the one item despatched - requiring me to print another prepaid label - no option to show the same tracking number or despatched for second item, so EBAY is holding my payment even though item successfully delivered to my customer.

What can I do to get my funds released from EBAY?

I don't think there is anything you can do other than wait for the payment to be released.

Depending on the value feedback from the buyer might help.

Many of your items are not expensive, do you not get this screen shown when listing?

Under SIMPLE DELIVERY, use SWITCH TO ADVANCED  OPTION and use postage method of your choice.

Hi, thanks for responding. Any clue about how long eBay will hold onto my funds. The combined package went off well before eBay target despatch date of May 29th.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I looked at advanced options to change out of SD but all the options seemed to be to charge me even more postage & package was already with customer.

If there are no other reasons for a hold, it should be 14 days.
